Who it is for
Every small business signs things. Few sign enough to justify a subscription.
A shop, a studio, a practice or a crew of six has the same paperwork as a large company, in smaller quantities: a new hire every few months, a service agreement with each customer, a vendor NDA now and then. Per-user monthly pricing was shaped for sales teams that send all day. Signathing is free for people, with templates, bulk send and a certified record on every document, because the paid side of Signathing funds it.
Hiring: the offer letter and the paperwork after it
An offer letter sent as a signing link gets accepted from a phone the same evening, and the certified copy lands in both inboxes. The acknowledgments that follow, the handbook, the safety policy, the equipment agreement, are the kind of document everyone is sure they signed and nobody can find.
Bulk send covers the whole team at once: pick a saved template, paste a list of names with emails or mobile numbers, and each person gets their own copy with their own audit trail. A change to the handbook becomes one send, not a stack of printouts.
Customers: quotes, service agreements and intake forms
A quote that is signed is a quote that cannot be remembered differently. Save the agreement once as a template, then either send it to each customer by name or post its direct link on your site and let people sign on their own time.
At the counter or on a visit, tap Sign here now and hand over your phone. The customer signs on your device, with you present, and still receives their own certified copy by email or text. No clipboard, no scanner.
Vendors and partners: the NDA before the conversation
Mutual NDAs, referral agreements and simple vendor contracts are signed by two parties who each want their own record. Signing order lets you countersign after the other side does, and the audit trail shows who opened what and when, from which device.
When the business is more than one person
Sending and signing stay free at any volume. A business that wants its own logo on the signing page and on the emails, with seats for the people who send, can add Signathing Business for a flat monthly fee. The price is on the compare page with everyone else's, and nothing you already send changes.
Common questions
- Is there a document limit?
- No. Unlimited documents, up to 25 signers and 25 view-only recipients on each, free, with no trial that runs out. It is funded by the paid side of Signathing, the metered API past 100 documents a month and the Signathing Business plan.
- Can I send one document to my whole team?
- Yes. Bulk send takes a saved template and a pasted list of up to 100 people. Each person gets their own copy, their own link and their own certified PDF when they finish.
- Can a customer sign in person, in my shop?
- Yes. Open the document, tap Sign here now, and hand them your phone or tablet. They sign on your device and still get their own certified copy.
- Do my employees or customers need an account?
- No. Each person gets a private link by email or text and signs from any device. Only the sender has an account, and signing in is a six-digit code, not a password.
- What do I get when a document is finished?
- A certified PDF with every field filled, the full audit trail, a verification code anyone can check at signathing.com/verify, and an entry in the public evidence log. Signatures are recognized under the federal ESIGN Act and state UETA laws.
